The English Language Program at Chatham is excited to announce five 50% student ambassador scholarships for local students to study English in summer 2019. The scholarships will be given to both conditionally admitted students and students who want to study Intensive English at Chatham. Local students are those currently living in the United States on an F1 or J2 visa, or are permanent residents/US citizens. Scholarship information: The 50% scholarship will cover half the cost for full-time study in the English Language Program for Summer 2019. The amount of the award is $2698, which will be added to awardees student accounts. Program of study: Full-time students will study Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 3pm from Friday May 24 - Friday August 2. Students will have 18-20 contact hours of class a week. (ID card or passport, transcripts, proof of English ability) Application requirements: - Online application (click "Apply Now!" below - ID information (Passport, ID card) - Proof of English ability: TOEFL iBT 61, IELTS 5.5, Duolingo 51, WIDA Access4.0, completion of a high intermediate level at another US intensive English program. Students without proof of English proficiency can take a placement at Chatham University. Email internationalaffairs@chatham.edu to make a request. -Proof of high school graduation (this can be high school diploma, transcripts, or university-level transcripts/diploma) -Proof of funding of at least $4200 IF the student needs to transfer their I-20 to Chatham.
