Non-campus housing: Living situations vary. If you are planning to live off campus, you will need to budget for rent, utilities, food, and other expenses. An estimate for shared housing is around $1000/month.

Books and other expenses: $1000 for the summer term. (includes health insurance)

On-campus housing may be available. The cost is estimated for $1550 for the summer. Students must apply separately for campus housing. Please contact OIA at InternationalAffairs@chatham.edu for more information.
Program Description

The English Language Program at Chatham is excited to announce SIX, student ambassador scholarships for the summer 2019 term. These scholarships are available only for our Universities partners in Vietnam and in Thailand. The scholarships will be given to both conditionally admitted students and students who want to study Intensive English at Chatham.

Scholarship information: SIX 100% Tuition scholarships will be provided to eligible students for summer 2019 only. Several 50% scholarships are also available.
Students pay for their own living expenses, health insurance, and plane tickets. Living Expenses and health insurance are estimated ti be around $2500 for 10-weeks. (or around $1000 a month)


Program of study: 24 hours of intensive English instruction a week for 10-weeks. Students will enroll in 12-credits of English Language Study. The program start date is May 24 - August 2, 2019.


Requirements:
Students need to demonstrate at least High Intermediate level of English (TOEFL 60, IELTS 5.0, Duolingo 65). Scholarship recipients are expected to serve as international ambassadors for Chatham University by assisting with recruitment efforts and participating in cultural activities.
