Non-campus housing: Living situations vary. If you are planning to live off campus, you will need to budget for rent, utilities, food, and other expenses. The estimate is around $4000

Program Description

The English Language Program at Chatham is excited to announce EIGHT student ambassador scholarships for local students to study English in summer 2018. The scholarships will be given to both conditionally admitted students and students who want to study Intensive English at Chatham.

Local students are those who do not need an immigration document, such as an I-20, from Chatham University.

Scholarship information:
Summer 1 has already begun. Only accepting applications for Summer 2: July 9 - August 9, 2018.

The Summer program will be split into two 6-week sessions. Scholarship applicants can apply for the entire summer (12 weeks, 4 courses), or can apply for either Summer 1 or Summer 2 session (6 weeks, 2 courses).

Program of study: 18-20 hours of intensive English instruction a week.
Eight (8) half- scholarships are available.

Requirements:
Four scholarships will be given to High Intermediate students (TOEFL 60, IELTS 5.5, Duolingo 65, WIDA Access 3.0). Four scholarships will be given to Advanced students (TOEFL 72, IELTS 6.0, Duolingo 75, WIDA Access 4.0-5.0). Preference will be given to students who need to improve their academic English in order to seek admission to a college or university.
